EOG Resources has 24,000 solar panels on 70 acres at the Battle Axe Ranch that provide approximately eight megawatts of power with no combustion. This solar farm is expected to cut emissions by 5,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent per year.
Cerberus Land & Cattle Company continues to look for partners to install additional solar farms on the ranch.
